A workshop was held for the
beneficiary students of Vidyaposhak-Dhrithi Foundation on Dec 30, 2007 at
the Karnataka Bank Employees' Association Auditorium, Mangalore. Nearly 70
students attended. Sri Addoor Krishna Rao of Corporation Bank, Mangalore
started the session with his lecture on communication skills. Dr. Vyjayanthi
Bonanthaya, HOD of Psychiatry at the J Inst. of Medical Sciences spoke on
Studies, distractions and stress and how to handle these. Sri Raviraj Belma,
Analyst at Infosys Tech, Mangalore gave valuable tips on choosing a future
career after 10+2 level. In the afternoon, Sri Vasanth Rao conducted an
interactive session on capacity building.
